C300 speedometer in km/h
Hey all,
This question has been posed for other models but I cannot find it for W204. I am going to be Canada for a while and was wondering if I can switch the needle speedometer to km/h. The settings through the IC allow me to change the digital speedo and oddometer. Any help is appreciate it. thank you.

I think you are pretty well stuck with MPH on the analog dial but the digital KPH should be sufficient until you get accustomed to the comparable speeds.

I would also suggest just using the digital km/h to help you judge your speed. You can work with a Canadian Mercedes Benz dealership to "Canadianize" your vehicle (they actually sub the work out to Canadian Tire) which includes converting the cluster and speedo needle, drilling holes into the front bumper for front provincial license plates (still required in a few provinces), emission check, and safety check. You would typically only go through all that trouble if you needed to import the vehicle into Canada, or a long term visit over 6 months and needed to register the car in Canada. I went through this process to import a BMW into the country.
