I saw in the rare options thread that A2165402945 is Distronic... I never saw it in the US catalog, so I assume they just aren't offering it here.

Anyone do a retrofit?

 

This is a part number, not an option. This part is neither for the W204 but for a 216, 251 and 164.

 

So in this thread, "w204 rare factory exotic options: Backup Camera, Distronic, TV tuner", it states that Distronic is an option. Post #14 foes further to even point out the updated part.

 

I did not state that this option could not exist for a W204, I just stated that you were referring to a part number, not a W204 option code.

I guess the option must exist if such a statement can be found from the internet.

But what if I state that 233 or any other option code for Distronic or Distronic plus does not appear in the current German price list for a 204 and the current EPC does not list the part you mentioned for a 204. No other radar part number either, and no grill option for the radar.

I'm sure someone could retrofit Distronic to a 204 even if it was not available as an option but that was not the topic here. It could even be coming at some point to the 204, I wonder if the person you were referring could tell more (unless he is fired from posting MB secrets).
