mounting bracket: A2045450340
wiring harness: A2405405106

Is that TV tuner PAL or NTSC? Either way, it's old-school and won't work in the US of A for much longer, if at all.

Remember the switch-over to Digital? TV Tuner seems like a bad idea now!

A "204" part number tuner would be digital but not necessarily US compatible (remember several European countries have had digital only for a few years).

Maybe, but Europe has long been PAL, and that's not compatible to us.

I know I'm late to the game, but can the rear proximity sensor and alert system be retrofitted, as a kit, or will I need to buy a "new" car?

I just purchased a 2010 C204 4Matic with only 18,200 miles on the clock on May 18, 2015.

Thank you for any thoughts on my dilemma.

Can I guess this was NOT in response to my question regarding availability of a kit to install proximity sensor(s) on a 2010 C300 4Matic?

(Note: My question had nothing to do with what others' cars came with; only the possibility to retrofit proximity-sensing system to a car WITHOUT it.)
