Same here, I get a bit of wobble but nothing worrisome. Sometimes it seems more prounounced than others...I can simply slide it over a bit and return it to center and it often stops or at least reduces its little dance.

If you have an Automatic, I wouldn't think you should have any shaking and very little vibration.

LOL! @ Original topic... Some vibration is expected. Especially on start, or cold starts. Do you use regular gas or premium octane? If you can gently place your hand on top and you can see your fingers shake, it could be a bit excessive. If your worried you can take it in for service.

All car engines (internal combustion) vibrate a bit in the mounts (rotate a tiny bit against the mounts), and because the shifter/linkage arrangement is firmly mounted on the trans, it rotates a tiny bit as well. It's a function of torque.
Torque is you friend. No biggie
