Now say the alternative, "I drive a Nissan"
Yeah ...
LMAO! I said "I drive a Nissan" for a year...and then it was "I drive what I always wanted"....The prestige of an MBZ is unbelievable! If you are leasing...who cares about warranties etc. Get the A, B, C service thrown in and you are good to go for Maintenence. Plus the Benz will hold it's value better down the road if you decide to buy the lease out at the end.

Harsh. I wouldn't call it ugly. I think it looks rather nice. A more aggressive approach from Nissan. But to each his own.

OP, where are you located? Here in socal, a dealer offered me ~$34,000 exc. tax+reg fees on a G37 with sport and premium packages. So it would be a G37S sedan. With premium package. No navi, but still.

Well, either way, Nissan and Daimler just made an alliance for MBZ's 4 cylinder engines to put in their G's. Either way, inside of a Nissan, or technically an Infiniti, will be part of us.

Yeah, I did a double take when I read that. Good to know that MB can build some fine diesels.
I have owned several Nissans in the past, includind a 96 Maxima and found them to be good cars. There really is a difference in the way the cars "feel" though and as long as my C holds up for at least 5 years, I just may be a Benz driver for life.
As far as the styling on the new Maxima...I can't totally disagree with the ugly comments but feel "overstyled" may be more fitting.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
I bought a Maxima new a few years back. Great car, but a not a Mercedes. I hate the looks of the new one. In my opinion, no matter what a car is equipped with, if you hate looking at it in your driveway, you'll regret it.

eyelids and HID's are very Ez to do and it will take about an half and hour. Use Polargs for your eyelids and DDM for your HID's

haha okay i use to work in NYC Lower Manhattan near the "Bull". No bumper removal needed eyelids are plug n play and Fogs you just use a hex tool to remove the plastic frame and from there it is simple. =) Where do you live?

Buy the car, not the badge.

Take each car out for an hour or so to a road that you enjoy driving (smooth, lots of curves, some straights etc.), by yourself, no salesmen/friends/girlfriend and just do some soul searching. Turn the radio off and listen to the car, does it speak to you at all?

I've always been happiest purchasing cars when I took no one else's opinion into account. You're buying it, you're driving it...you need to absolutely love it.

Defintely opt for the 18" AMG rims, it make the car look a whole world difference. Congrats.

drop the AMG wheels and just buy some aftermarket wheels or reps.
