I find it ironic that to fit 10" wide wheels you need 245's while 9.5" wide wheels, you can fit 265's. Add half an inch of wheel, lose 2 centimeters of tire.

LOL the roads are going to be wet for a while. Snowing yet again. Crazy weather.

Yeah, definitely don't want to be rubbing on the fender, it's a terrible sound. But to be honest, does the extra half an inch in width make that much of a difference in appearance? Really, you are gaining a 1/4 of an inch on either side which isn't as noticeable, but will cause your wheels to protrude outside of your fenders. I dunno, my personal preference is to have as wide of a tire as possible in there, but to each his own! Regardless, summers in the crappy snowy weather we have now is useless...can you get out of your area? Once you hit the main streets, it's not bad, just water and slush.

Don't fear autocross. I take my Merc out on real tracks and it runs great. Autocross tracks are typically small and slow, you typically won't get over 70-80 mph max speeds, and if you run "off track" you're just tumbling a cone.

Edit: I'll be driving at Sebring International Raceway Oct 2-3 if anyone cares to join me, just send me a pm.

Quick question. (great looking car btw!) Which vendor did you get that lip from? Is it the Euroteck or JBSpeed lip? Or the one from eBay that seems to be a JBSpeed rep? I'm looking for a CF lip right now and I rather dislike the Carlsson lip's look. I'd rather go for a double chin than a cleft chin for my car :P
