Interesting Article On Effects of Plus Sizing Wheels/Tires
Came across this article this morning and found it to be pretty interesting. I was especially surprised by the 0-60 time differences recorded with the different setups. Enjoy!

seems that there are both advantages and disadvantages to bigger and smaller rims...
guess it depends on what you are looking for performance wise - shorter stopping distances and better handling, or better straight line performance!

To sum up , people increasing wheel size is 95% for the appearance & to the detriment of fuel economy & ride.

BTW, that article is recycled from the mid-1990s.
While this article is absolutely true, the effect isn't as great with cars that have more power. Also a lot of stock MB wheels are very heavy from the factory, opening the opportunity to minimize this while plus sizing.
