I am just finalizing my lease on a 2010 C300 4matic.

It is pretty much bare bones except Heated Seats. I didnt even want P1 so that saved me some bucks hehe

I will not be getting the iPod connectivity, so I was wondering if I still get an AUX input as standard equipment? If not, can I install an iPod integration kit? (how much?)

Also, since were on the subject of the radio... what is the standard radio in the C300? I see a HK system is optional, so what do the standard guys get?

There should be an AUX input in the glovebox. As for adding the IPOD intergration kit it can be added at any time and the parts cost is around $200 without the instal. I think the instal runs about 1.5 hours at $142 an hour at my dealer. Your better off to add the IPOD kit now rather then later. I have the standard audio in my car and its not to bad, but could be better. the HK system is very nice but is also not the best. In my opinion there is always room for improvement in the audio department.

I too have an 09 C300 Sport with the non Harmon Kardon (standard stereo). The AUX input is a fair solution at best, does the IPOD integration kit plug directly into the head unit for better sound level/quality-if so, is my only option to have Mercedes do the install?

Um, the iPod kit includes a little IN LINE AMP (if the installer knows what they are doing). This makes the volume level slightly closer to the other audio sources, but still not perfect.

There are people who have done the install themselves, but it's not so easy at all in my opinion.

I'm interested in this as well. I want more integration instead of reaching for my iPod each time I was to switch the song.

After some searching through the forum, this is what I found-you can purchase the Mercedes Integration kit on E-bay for $175.00

I beleive mac911 is right-have a professional install. I have mine on order, hopefully this will be the solution.
