X-Pipe Mod in NJ?

So it looks like for my first mod i'm going to go with an X-Pipe to get that deep rumble sound. Problem is, with so many places here in Northern NJ, i would like to weed out the horrible places to take it to. I dont know of any reputable shops to take it to so i'm curious if anyone has had this done in the Northern NJ area and was satisfied with the results.

Thanks.

I did my C350 about 2 months ago and in no way does it make a deep rumble sound. It actually made it sound more like my old 06 350Z. More of a rrrrippp when throwing some revs around. I thought it had a deeper sound before the x-pipe was installed.

I dont wanna be annoyed by the exhaust sound on long drives, hearing the engine constantly...does it sound that way?

Well .... on long drives you would more than likely be in cruising speeds so I dont think your be hearing the rumble. I'd only hear the roar when I'm flooring it and the RPM's are above 3000 rpm's then again I have a c300 so can't be too sure if the 350's wold differ ??

Nah, no drone just cruising. I just hear it when you get on it. It's not even all that noticeable in the car with windows up. My wife got on it while passing me on the interstate and I could hear it nicely. Overall a good upgrade. I got the Magnaflow xpipe or 89 USD and had it installed for about 115 USD. Plus if you want to "undo" it, just put the original resonator (OE xpipe) back in.

The X-pipe gives a more "rip" sound as they said that is a refined exhaust, sort of like infiniti or Nissan. If your looking for more of a deep rumble, you can look into an "H" pipe which will make the tone deeper, more like a v-8 supposedly, but I have never heard one in person.
