It's evident that the LED DRLs will be a 2011 feature and the bi-xenons will be available separately, but does this apply to only the C300/350 sport or also to the C300 luxury model?

Everyday I look at the MBUSA website for an update from the 2010 to the 2011 C, but nothing yet.

I spent some time at my dealer a week or so ago certain I was going to by a GLK. Two test drives later, it's not the right vehicle for me. I'm looking to lose my 2005 C240 and replace it with a 2011 version (l happen to like those LED DRLs ).
I love the LED DRL's too. The dealer told me the the LED DRL's will be standard on the Sport models. On the internet I've read that the first 2011's won't be coming with them but that production post Dec. 2010 will begin to have the LED DRL's.

If you go the MB Canada website's C class page, the picture there shows the car with LED DRL's and it looks SICK. I need those.

ARRGH! What - LED DRLs are too blingy for luxury model owners!? Puhleeze. Regardless, thanks for the info. I'd buy the sport model just for those lights but I need the car sooner than post Dec. 2010. Saw the pics on MB Canada. Thx.

Hmmm... he didn't say they couldn't be added to the Luxury model... the 2011 now has a Lighting Pkg, so you don't need to get P2 to get bixenon anymore which would be a relief if I didn't need a car so soon. I think the lighting pkg would include the LED DRL's because it does on the GLK (and other models?).

But again, I'm not sure that this guy really knows what he's talking about. He told me that the lease rates for the 2011's would be about the same as the current 2010's. Looking at the leasing section here, leasecompre numbers for July 2010 show a money factor of 0.00280 for 2011's compared to 0.00092 for 2010's. That makes a huge difference.

I don't know about the lease rates, but the prices for the 2011 are holding fairly steady... see my previous post in this thread. The MSRP on the base car went up by $300, but the P1 package dropped by $300. I didn't even see a P2 package on the order sheet when I ordered my car, but they did have the "319 lighting package: Bi-Xenon headlamps", and I went for that.

I do believe you're correct that the LED DRL will be an option on the luxury model while standard on the sport model.

I don't have the complete price list for everything, but the MSRP for the items which I ordered are:

C300W: $33,990
P01: $1,995
319 Bi-Xenon Lighting: $985
731 Burl Walnut wood: $325

European delivery price is 7% off the final total. I'll be picking my my 2011 C300 in Sindelfingen on October 5th. Can't wait! :-)

Thx Mrbo for the update. It makes sense that the lighting would be an option for the C300 luxury. Now I have to wait for the 2011 models. Seems as if it'll never happen

Congrats on your new vehicle.
