Any info on the 2011 models?

Hi guys,
first post here, so be gentle with me. I'm looking to do a European Delivery on a W204 C300 car. I'm planning on going to Europe at the end of September/early October, and with that in mind, would like to pick up the car at that time.

I'm interested in getting the 2011 model year car, since as I understand it, it's supposed to get a slight facelift with LED daytime running lights, and some other minor tweaks. Unfortunately, I've not been able to find out anything about the availability of the 2011 cars. Is it reasonable to expect to be able to pick up a 2011 MY on October 1st in Sindelfingen? I've been searching the net for some clues, but the only thing I've found about next year's model cars is some stuff about the coupe, which doesn't help me.

I'm familiar with the Euro Delivery process, having previously picked up a BMW in Munich, and since it was so much fun, I want to do it again, this time with a Mercedes.

the manager at my dealership said the coupe will be here later this summer. It will be a bigger engine and he said a lot faster. As far as the sedan, I haven't heard anything yet. Im looking into the coupe since they said it will be quite fast. Supposedly they are trying to keep up with the 335 coupe!

Yeah I'm still waiting to hear some more information about the 2011 C350. Been patiently waiting for months now!

Any dealer's new car sales manager could answer this question. September is a perfect time for this. I've done two Porsche factory deliveries and it's a great experience.

I was actually at the local dealer in February but at that time I was planning on going in May and getting a 2010 car. Since then, the plans have changed a bit, especially after I found out that the 2011 model year will feature the facelift. The sales guy at the dealership wasn't the most helpful anyway, but I guess I'll try to ask them again. I was just hoping that some folks on here might at least have some 'rumors' to pass along regarding the 2011 availability.

According to a report from Europe, the "Face Lifted" W204's will be available for placing orders in Germany this December. Deliveries in Europe are to begin after the first of the year. Most likely, we will get the revised cars by next spring, but I haven't heard anything firm on USA deliveries.

Yeah that's what I heard too, but the thing about that is that would mean that it would be over 1.5 years between model year 2010 and 2011, and that doesn't add up because it screws up the schedule for 2012 models.

I'm hopeful that we'll see something on the new models fairly soon because MB have to get stuff on the market to keep up with BMW and Audi in updates.

Hasn't info usually come out about the next model around this time of the year? BMW already has their 2011 models IN STOCK at dealerships, yet we have not heard anything concrete or seen more photos.

2010 weren't available till January here in the US where I am. Delayed because they had to clear 09 models. If I didn't need four doors I would have definitely gotten the 2011 3 series coupe with the sport package.

2010 C-Class came out in September where I live. I just got an email from my dealership saying the 2011 E-Class is there. I would assume the C-Class will be soon to follow. Althought, they did say that they would be bringing the CLC (C-Class Coupe) over to the states this year... I wonder if that will delay the release for the 2011 C-Class until late 2010?

CLC is not coming here. It's an all new actually C Coupe not the CLC.

I stand corrected, this is what happens I guess when you talk out of your ***...

So how will the badging be for the C-Class coupe? The same C300 or whatever engine?

There have been a number of articles, I think I actually posted a couple, but it's supposed to be a 300 hp engine thats turbocharged to compete with the 3 series coupe. No word on whether this will make it to the sedan for 2011. There will also be a 4 cylinder engine option I believe.

I haven't heard anything from dealers, this is all from leftlanenews and autoblog

Thanks for the link. Alas, the only thing I see there is that the C Class coupe will be made in Bremen starting in May of next year, but nothing about the 2011 sedans. I would think that MB would release those sooner, especially since BMW already has their 2011 cars in the dealerships now (as was mentioned earlier in the thread.)

Also the S63 AMG will come with another engine, M157 with twin turbo chargers.
V8
cm³: 5461
PS: 544 PS bzw. mit Performance Package 571 PS
NM bei 1/min 800 NM bzw. mit Performance Package 900 NM

So the C63 will follow with this engine later.

Info?

Was just at the dealer today working out a deal on a C300. MM,Sport,Panorama Sunroof, Advanced Agility...

But it must be a 2010 coming from another dealer, I haven't seen it yet. What exactly is the deal on the 2011's? I'm coming out of a lease and need a new car now. My wife is coming out of a lease in 3 months. I could potentially lease a car that she'll eventually drive in order to wait for the 2011 C300 to come out.

In addition to the car I've specified above, I am mostly wishing it had bi-xenons and LED DRL's. I don't want to pay for P2 just to get the bi-xenons. I've read that the 2011 may have a separate lighting packages that would give the bi-xenons. Also, I've read that the 2011 facelift will get the LED DRL's.

Does anyone know definitively when the 2011 model year will be here, if the bi-xenons can be added by themselves, and if the LED DRL's will be included on the 2011's when they first come in?

Thanks in advance!

I'd like to know the same...

It's evident that the LED DRLs will be a 2011 feature and the bi-xenons will be available separately, but does this apply to only the C300/350 sport or also to the C300 luxury model?

Everyday I look at the MBUSA website for an update from the 2010 to the 2011 C, but nothing yet.

I spent some time at my dealer a week or so ago certain I was going to by a GLK. Two test drives later, it's not the right vehicle for me. I'm looking to lose my 2005 C240 and replace it with a 2011 version (l happen to like those LED DRLs ).
