Just wanted to post two montages of videos I took on my iPhone will driving through the Smokey Mountain National Park...

Was absolutely phenomenal...1350 miles in 2 days of driving

The driving gets more spirited as the videos go, especially in number two.

Yes I have an x-pipe, and no my car is not a manual.

Good clips. Looks like the drive through the mountains out here as I head to the coast, albeit only a hundred miles or so.
You'll prob get the most comments regarding the x-pipe since no one has previously posted sustained clips under various RPMs that I can find. Were the windows down at all? Surprised that much x-pipe sound came through if not.

Well I wouldn't go so far as to call it the U.S. Nurburgring, that is more fitting for roads like the Tail of the Dragon or some of the California roads like Mulholland, but this is definitely a nice road.

Stupid question, but what X pipe are you using? I'm assuming the magnaflow 2.25" but compared to the other ones I've heard, yours sounds amazing.

Nice video. I would like to see more on Iggy's X-Pipe, it sounds better than magnaflow...

Also, I love how in the second video you gunned it past the BMW owner, haha.

I guess I only realized it because I do the same thing, haha.

I didn't realize the Iggy's is a local body shop in Chicago. I thought they were a large retailer that I could purchase an X-Pipe from, haha. It seems that Home-brewed X-pipes are better and/or louder than the MagnaFlows.

Perhaps I will check out local shops here to see if they can do one for me.

Also, has anyone seen any videos of an "H" Pipe on our c300, I have tried searching, but couldn't find anything. Supposedly it isn't as refined of a sound, but makes the tone deeper, more like a v8.

amazing - and we have now come full-circle

about the pipe, they took two of em', bent em, made a cut on the inside bend of both pipes and welded them together....will try to get a pic later.

going up to tirerack to check out some ferraris and others...check back for pics later!

Here was my warmup lap yesterday, I wanted to shoot more (especially considering I understeered one corner) but my passenger got way too nauseated trying to film. I think next time I go to the track I'll duct tape the camera to my front bumper to get some better footage.

Thx! Have some video from Winged Warrior this weekend - 1/4 mile and auto-x but am having difficulties transferring the data due to the pissing match between sony and apple....

in case some are interested, my fastest time was 15.410 @ 89.xx
