Permanently Mute the GPS Woman i call Miranda
Does someone know how to permanently mute the GPS voice?
it bugs me that everytime i program it the voice comes back up..

Can you just turn the volume all the way down? I have a 2009, and it seems to remember the voice volume (so if I'm listening to music and her voice comes on and I change the volume, it stays that way).

When "Miranda" talks you can hit the mute button. It should mute her permantly, or just hit the volume control all the way down.

no, it doesn't get muted permanently..you have to hit the button every single occasion...it's pretty retarded...

try that...or press the button that repeats her last instruction and then turn down the volume...mined stayed where i put it until i changed it again

Thx! i've tried all the options this morning on my way to work.. it's a strange thing.. i really like the maps & the layout.. but the settings are MUCH more clear in a BMW GPS (anno 2009+) there you can just mute the GPS by clicking an icon..

Anyway, thank you for the responses

Midnite, Mercedes did a research on this and found that you can not mute a woman in One Button Press. BMW is way behind !
