Two Error Messages

I got these two random errors, wondering if its normal

1. Almost every time after I put my key in, and before i turn it on, it says "take your key from ignition"...... I see why it says that when i turn off the engine, but not before i turn it on....

2. This is the random one, it would say "Correct Tire Pressure" after i turn off the engine. It happens mostly after I drove in heavy rain, and ever since the pouring rain a week ago, it almost shows up every time.

Hope its something normal.....any idea??

Don't know about the first message but the second one sounds like it may be accurate.

Check the tire pressure in the morning before driving anywhere. See if you got a low one in the bunch.

Another round of ICE
I asked the SA about that second one, wondering if it was a verb (go and correct your tire pressure) or an adjective (yes, you have the correct tire pressure) as it was in white lettering, and not the red letters of the tire pressure monitoring system warning. The SA did not know, and even the folks on the MB phone line were not sure!! Anyway, I reset all the pressures to the door jamb spec, when cold, and never saw the message again.

The SA claims tyre pressures are good if the warning comes with white letters? Must be their standard answer to get rid of the issue.

One can get rid of the warning the way you did, or by coding the low hard limit for the sensors differently.

Abut the first message.
I get that message in my W203 if I open the door before I remove the key.
I didn't experienced same in W204 yet.

getno,

By any chance, do you still have your door open when you put your key in the ignition?

1. Is due to you still having the door open... (said earlier)
2. I had that happen a couple of weeks ago, just adjusted the pressure and reset the TPMs, all good to go... (1 tire was a couple of pounds light and tripped the system)
