I have a Bold 2 (9700) and a 08 C300 Sport w/o the Command system. I had no problems transferring contacts before. However, since you cant do incremental updates, I had to wipe an business cards and re-add last week. I THOUGHT everything went fine, but it's not pulling over ALL my contacts. I have 149 contacts on the Blackberry, but only 129 are going to the car.

It seems to be the same group that are not transmitting. They're not at the end of the list, but some of my more common numbers (fiancee for example) I cant find any one thing they they all have in common.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Shot over to your local [fill in the carrier] and have a sales rep / technician help you out. There's a number of variables that come into play . . Do the contacts have a picture? Do they have a speed dial key? Are they apart of a group? etc.

I will give that a try. I KNOW that they'll tell me it's a MB issue and MB will say A T-Mobile issue..

I do wonder about those variables though.. I'll have to see if I can narrow it down to which ones didn't xfer over, aside from the fiancee. She DOES have a picture, but some of the ones that did xfer do as well. If I find anything out I'll update you all here.

I have the same phone and the same car. No problems transferring phone numbers to the car but I also don't have over 100 contacts. It's weird that you can transfer some but not all; some people have a problem with not being able to transfer any numbers. I had a problem originally with company contacts (rather than a person) showing up funny in the Mercedes system because the car expected it to be a person with a first and last name, but I solved that by putting the company name in both the Company and Last Name fields and then syncing again.
