Does unit reset (to delete address book) delete Navigation update?

Does unit reset (to delete address book) delete Navigation update?
Was looking to wipe out the current address book I have and am willing to use the "reset" option to clear everything. My concern though is that I upgraded the navigation software and don't want to lose it by doing the reset.

Can anyone confirm/deny if the Navi will get lost?

It shouldn't, I had to reset the address book on my sisters ML and it kept the current nav. I highly doubt that MB would make the nav in our w204s much different, if at all.
