HOW TO: Get contacts from an iPhone to the HU
1. Sync your iPhone with a computer. I used a windows machine, and had it synced with outlook.
2. On the computer convert the contacts that you wish to upload to the HU to a vCard format.
3. Copy the vCard contacts to the iphone. I used WinSCP with both the computer and the iphone on the same network. There are other options such as iFunbox, iphonebrowser, iphone explorer, etc.
4. Install iBluenova on the iphone. (if you iphone is jailbroken you can find this on Cydia)
5. Use iBluenova to send the contacts to the HU.
You'll need to send one at a time, but since this is a one time deal, it's not too bad.

I have the 2008 C 350 sport. Irridium Silver Metalic,Multimedia Package,iPod,18" AMG wheels
Real simple, I just exported 2000 contacts from my Mac address book as vcard, drag it to my PCMCIA slot card. Put the PCMCIA in my car, hit import in a matter of 2 seconds all my contacts transfer over on my address book in my 2008 MB C350.
If you need help on how to it drop me an email, I'll run you thru it, Good Luck.

I have been searching the blogs for three days now and I still can't figure this out. I have all of my contacts saved on my computer in outlook. I understand how to save them as vCards. I can't figure out how to pair my PC to the car(My PC wont find the car when it is searching for bluetooth) and I don't know how to actually send the vCards to the car once my computer is paired. Please help.

I didn't try pairing the PC with the car, since at that time I didn't have a PC with bluetooth.
Using the method I described above you copy the vCards to the iPhone and send them to the car using the bluetooth on the iPhone.

Sully thanks for the help! The only problem with doing it that way is that my iPhone isn't jail broken. My previous phone was and it gave me issues so I haven't unlocked my new phone. Is there any other way around that? Any apps that will work with 4GS?
