Problem with install LED tail light W204
today i buy from eBay a new LED tail light for my W204, but i install it easy and when i turn on the light the up lights doesn't turn on!!!!!but other light it work, i call to supplier and he said you must reset you computer and then it is turn on, i go to Benz work shop and they are reset my computer, but this isn't work?!?!?please somebody help to fix this problem.

Check your fuses? The diagram I believe is in the trunk near the spare?

it could just be that the bottom light light up when you hit the brakes. Turn your fog lights on n pull the switch all the way out. go to the back of the car and see if the light is turned on. that could be the rear fog light.

There is no software reset for LED rear lights so that advice is wrong. Substituting LEDs for a conventional bulb in the taillight position probably triggered the lamp out module to turn on an alternate bulb since the low current flow of the LEDs looks like a failed bulb to it.
but why other lights is work? the barke and all of them is work just up light is not work?

when I remove the LED Socket from lamp supporter and install the original lamp it is work and it mean the electricity is flow, but when put back it to LED socket this in not turn on(just on up light)

contact the ebay seller and let him now. The solder point in the LED circuit board must have been bad on that light. Ask to replace it, or you can fix it yourself if you have a solder. Its not the car if the right one works.

Just so we can understand your exact problem, it's the upper parking lights that are the problem? Do the lower brake lights work ok? Do the turn signals work ok?

Just shooting in the dark here, but maybe you need to install a resistor? If I recall correctly, you need something like a 6ohm 50W load resistor to make the error message go away and maybe then the computer will behave differently?

but I Thought it must like original lamp, I mean up+Dowm is turn on, and now the design of light like S class and it mean the LED tail light is work true
