The problems with the level sensors included false low readings (just a light) which were caused by the sensor float dropping on left turns. A delay circuit was added later which did not entirely solve the problem. Even in my late and unlamented W203, the level system would occasionally scream out in bright red letters "crankcase overfilled, proceed to MB workshop" which I finally ignored. Changing the software level parameters (MB tech's laptop) was not a total cure. Another item to get used to and ignore.

None of my past MBs had pressurized oil leaks, though. Seeps, yes.

Side note..I really like the new commercial they've been running with the family packing their GLK for a roadtrip while flashbacks to all the rigorous testing MB does with all their models play simultaneously.

Haha that is a cool commercial.

I'd agree that the C is the best in its class but it's all subjective to what best is to everyone. As I type this, my car's been at the dealership all day trying to fix my car severely lagging when I put it into reverse.
