C300 vs Dead Deer
Not as bad as it sounds. Last night I was getting on to route 202 in Ft Wash, MD. The road goes uphill and curves as it starts to go downhill. If you ever want to see how great your car handles just hit this bend doing 80+. You will definitely find out.
Anyways as I get into the bend doing about 50 mph LO AND BEHOLD!!! There is a dead deer in the road. I swerve and notice he is already in 2 pieces. My right wheels go over his mid section and my left wheels run over his head. Nice right? I could feel the front end slide a few inches. Not sure why but I lifted my butt out of my seat when I ran it over like it was going to help the deer.
Well aside from deer matter (and maybe a tooth) splatted on my wheels and undercarriage the damage isn't too bad. The car vibrates when driving now. Front right wheel was forced into the wheel well and hit the inside of the fender and there was some slight damage (see pic). I didn't notice it til this morning. Surprisingly no front end damage that I noticed.
No one was injured and I didn't wash the car yet. I want the insurance people to see it
. I got a slight odor out of the AC today. Turned it off real quick. Enjoy the pics.

the damage isnt to bad except the car vibrations which hopefully doesnt end up being something major. Glad to hear your ok...i worry about this all the time as the road i travel to work everyday has tons of deers and low visibility plus im heading to work at 1am...i guess its a good thing the deer was already dead and on the ground because im sure you wouldnt want a run in with one standing up which would most likely end up in being a very bad day. hope you get your car fixed up real soon and is running as good as new in no time. p.s. bad deer!!!!

Wow, glad you're ok and that the car at least seems ok too. Hopefully the vibration is nothing serious, maybe just a bent rim.
At least it turned out better than it did for this guy.

Wow I can't believe the person before you that hit the deer didn't move the body off the road or at least do something to move it. Glad to hear lil damage was done!
