Two issues with that... quite a bit more work/cost than just doing eye lids and it's a lease, so difficult/expensive mods not a good idea.

But these should still look pretty good with halogens though, no? Kind of like Xenon heads with regular fogs?

By the way, the only reason these aren't bright during the daylight is because of the lens which diffuses the light from being highly visible like direct view LED DRLs, correct?

Just get HID upgrade. You can always remove the HIDs when you lease return and it's really not that expensive to install HIDs.

And yes, that's the primary reason these LEDs aren't as bright (as say audi LEDs strips) during day. It's the nature of the housing diffusing the light. If you hang these LEDs outside the housing area during day, they'd be just as bright and eye catching.

What's the HID upgrade? Is it just a replacement bulb? I thought the entire housing needs to be changed to upgrade to HIDs. Links?

Mike, I think you can start considering selling hid kits as well.

Hey everyone, here is my recently installed LED from Mike.

5000k

The file with the last 3 numbers 174 (pic of driver side eyelid) is a polarg for comparison. In my opinion, the AZN Optics are quite bright, which I don't think the pics emphasize. I am happy thus far and they were shipped quickly and well.

No, you don't need to replace the whole housing. It's just a bulb and ballast. Do a search and you'll find many examples and instructions here.

These LED's look great and I think I want some but I have some questions first.

I currently have stock everything......eyelid lights, halogens, and fogs.

I want to change it all. I want these LED's, and I think I want the Phillips low beams and fogs.

One of my questions is what is the difference between Phillips Crystal Vision and Diamond Vision.

Second question is which Phillips bulb will match with these LED's the best? Crystal or Diamond?

Thanks

The diamond visions are rated at 5000k while the crystal visions are rated at 4300k. What that means is the diamond visions will have a "whiter" look while the crystal visions would have a white/yellow look. Personally I'd go for the diamond visions if you want to match em with these eyelid LEDs seeing as they're rated at 5000k.

Thanks for the info....that helps.

So if I get Diamond Vision for my low beams and my fog lights then what do I do with my high beams..........just leave them alone?

Sorry if thats a stupid question, but I've never done this

John go to the previous page and look for my post. I have the diamond vision on both my lows and fogs and they match up pretty well with the LEDs.
