Mercedes C63 AMG DR520
Daimler has announced today the details of the Mercedes C63 AMG DR520 special edition that comes with upgraded power output and visual updates. The Mercedes C63 AMG DR520 is powered by the standard engine that has been upgraded to output 520 hp and 650 Nm of torque which is 60 hp and 50 Nm of torque more than the standard car. The Mercedes C63 AMG DR520 is available in both Saloon and Estate body styles and has a 0 to 62 mph acceleration time of 4.1 seconds and 4.2 seconds respectively. The top speed of both versions of the Mercedes C63 AMG DR520 is electronically limited to 187 mph.
The Mercedes C63 AMG DR520 also comes as standard with the AMG Performance Pack Plus which include bigger brakes with red callipers, new forged pistons, connecting rods and a revised crankshaft. The sedan version of the Mercedes C63 AMG DR520 also comes with a Carbon Fibber rear spoiler.
The new special edition will be available in black or white matt wrap and will sit on Titanium finish alloy wheels. Other design accents of the Mercedes C63 AMG DR520 include a wing and the boot lid, various badges and a Titanium finish front grille. The interior of the Mercedes C63 AMG DR520 features an AMG Performance steering wheel covered in Nappa leather and Alcantara and various other accents.
The Mercedes C63 AMG DR520 price starts at 62,430 GBP for the Saloon and at 63,680 GBP for the estate. The Mercedes C63 AMG DR520 price is 9,995 GBP above the one of the standard car.

Mercedes-Benz UK has launched an exclusive new model, the C-Class DR 520 with more power and performance than any other C-Class. Only 20 units of this car will be available, and it is sold exclusively through the company’s Specialist Products division at Mercedes-Benz World at Brooklands, Surrey.
Based on the high-performance C 63 AMG, the DR 520 has a performance upgrade and boasts 520 hp and 650 Nm of torque, a 60 hp and 50 Nm advantage over than the standard C 63 AMG. The DR 520 Saloon can reach 0-62 mph in just 4.1 seconds with the Estate achieving the same in 4.2 seconds, and both are electronically limited to a top speed of 187 mph.
The AMG Performance Pack Plus is fitted to the DR 520 as standard and features AMG’s high-performance braking system with red calipers, with the addition of engine upgrades in the form of forged pistons, newly-developed connecting rods and a revised crankshaft, as well as an AMG Carbon Fibre rear spoiler for the Saloon.
Available with a black or white matt wrap and complimented by Titanium finish alloy wheels, grille and discreet DR 520 badging on the wing and the boot lid, the DR 520 combines stealthy looks with potent performance.Inside, the sports seats are upholstered in leather and exclusive Alcantara finished with red or white contrast stitching, as is the dashboard and upper door panels. The multi-function AMG Performance steering wheel is clad in Nappa leather and Alcantara.

MB should have made this a Black Series, instead of DR520.
I am a little disappointed that the matte finish is a film instead of MB's own special factory Designo Magno matte paint.

I was kind of hoping they'd switch to supercharging instead of turbocharging for their replacement like they did with previous AMGs, but I guess it's not to be.
Either way, i'd be plenty happy with a regular C63 any day...in black
