Got some prob
I am newbie here and have a 2008 C300 sport. My parent bought me the car and I do not know anything about the car at all!!!
My prob is....When I trun on A/C, the car makes some noise sounds such as over heating engine sound(?).I went to MB serivce, but they just said the car is nomal. So until The car have to be warming up enough, I cannot turn on A/C......
anyone have same prob??or any help??Maybe because of Coolants??

Sorry, but can you explain the situation a bit more? A video might help as well, its hard to understand the problem your having. Is it a loud fan noise on the outisde of the car?

When I turn on the A/C and then push the accelerator pedal, yes, kinda loud fan sound and RPM goes 2000~3ooo. The sound came from outside of car.
What should I do? or what should I tell the MB service center?
I try to make a video.

As for the AC, my advice is to leave it on automatic, set the temp where you want it and forget it. Mine's been running that way since October 2007 with no problems.

Sounds like the cooling fan to me... The auxillary fan that kicks in with the AC is a bit louder than you might expect.

The problem is not the sound actually. When I push the accelerator pedal, the fan sound getting louder, the RPM goes 2~3000, and feels like the car does not make speed up as normal.

Well the A/c witch i presume your running it at med/hi for summer is a drain on the engine requiring more power for daily driving. and water temps are normal at that degree. I'd say take your car for a car trip around town, up some old roads and learn from your car first hand. Best way to figure everything out.

The W204 does not have an aux fan. Have you looked under the hood? It has one large diameter electric fan that is controlled by the main brain which takes inputs from engine water temp and AC refrigerant to decide when and how fast to run the fan.

If your dealership says your problem is normal, I wouldn't worry about it. I also wouldn't worry about waiting for your engine to warm up before turning on the AC, as the two systems are irrelevant.
