Service interval

I don't use my car very much and I am going on a long trip soon. I'm pretty sure I will exceed the service interval by mileage however I cannot check this for some reason. The service assist only gives me days remaining not mileage. Has anyone found out how to get mileage remaining before service, I know my days remaining must be calculated on current use therefore will be thrown off by the long trip, don't want to do service while on vacation. I'll propably just do the service at home in any case however if someone can answer the question that would be great.

Norm , You are not receiving much help from all your US & Canadian cousins. They must be too busy changing their coloured light bulbs.

My Australian Service book states that :-

' A' Service every 25,000 km or 12 months.
' B' Service every 50,000 km or 24 months.

I am pretty sure that there is no provision in Service Assist to give you miles before service.

Good luck,

Aussie John.

You should get your car serviced every 10,000 miles or every 12 months, but you said you don't drive your car much soo you should be able to stretch out the 12 months.. As for the car telling you when to get it serviced, I wouldn't follow that.. Do the math yourself.. If your gonna exceed the 10k mark service your car b4 your road trip
