Bluetooth from Mac to C300 Head Unit
I can tell you it won't mount a Mac from the head unit. Perhaps I'm doing it wrong. Has anybody else tried it?
BTW, iPhone4 doesn't need the $2 app to move contacts. You can either do it via MobileMe (strongly recommend) or iTunes.

Would you please explain us having trouble with uploading contact lists to laptop and to the MB? I've typed the displayed address from Air Contacts in my internet browser but no connection at all.
TIA.
TIA.

2. Start the app Air Contacts.
3. You should read a http://xxxxxxxxxxxxx on it. Type that in your browser.
4. Click "Download all contacts". Then click whatever format you want to download and remember the place you save it.
5. Take your laptop to your car.
6. Make sure your laptop bluetooth is on, then sync it to your car just like you do with your phone.
7. Go to where you save your file. Right click on it and click send through bluetooth device.

Finally I did it! Forget about iPhone and vcards issue - I used my old Motorola Razor phone: synced it with my iMac contacts via bluetooth. Paired it with my GLK and send contacts to MB phone system...

Have iPhone 4, I exported my contacts in vcard format in outlook (i gysncit with my mac) and then saved to a memory card, used the PCMIA import and worked fine. All came across and transferred in.

New to MBWorld and have just found out why everyone is moaning about syncing the iPhone to Audio 20 to show names.
Used this forum and after a few hours I've finally managed to use Air Contacts to send vCards to my MacBook Pro, and in turn to my Audio 20.
So thankyou all for the comments, I definately couldn't have done it without you all.
Looking forward to hopefully helping someone else out in the future,
McFly.

With a Mac, the final component you'll need to "blast" the VCF/vcards to the COMAND is VCardBlaster for Mac. I couldn't find a way to to it otherwise.
This functionality is native in Windows I believe.

It took me longer to upload each contact to my MacBook Pro than anything else. But thanks to Whacko77UK at post #10.
Each contact (in my case around 60) had to be emailed from my iPhone via the Air Contacts app. Once on my MacBook Pro, I just paired the car up to my MacBook and it transferred in seconds. Be careful not to do it without wiping all the old contacts, or you'll end up duplicating them all.
