Debating whether to go with the 5000k's or the 8000k's. I have 6000k hid bulbs in the headlights. Which one would be the better match?

 

i'd say 8k.

the 5k LEDs i got are slightly whiter compared to my 5k headlights..

 

You can do what some have also done when questioning which to get...buy one pair of each 5000k and 8000k and plug them in. Whichever one you like better, order the remaining pair for your brows and take the other leftover and use it for your license plate lights.

 

one thing's for sure though is that these are the best LEDs so far. no flickering and no color change!

has any one confirmed or denied whether or not these will fit into the sidemarkers? because now that i have the eyebrows in white(which i love, thank you again Mike for the groupbuy lol) my blueish sidemarkers are killing me lol

 

I've sold plenty to people for their sidemarkers and haven't heard of any fitment issues yet. Since you already have the brow LED, just take one out and test fit it yourself in your sidemarker to see.

installed mine yesterday! had to use needle nose tho...

 

yeah, it's tough getting in there, especially on the driver side. Having thin fingers definitely helps, but angled needle nose pliars is definitely a useful tool.

 

is it me..? but i find the hardest part about it - not removing/inserting bulb/socket but - screwing the cap back in!

 

I dropped one of the caps when I was putting mine in....took me forever to find it and get to it. Haha.

My new shipment (including my LED turn signal testers) were just shipped out this morning so hopefully should get here end of the week, sooner if customs doesn't hassle me too much.

 

These LED's work great!

Mine matches up very well to my 6000k HIDs. Its been about 2 months now? I just checked for burn marks on the LED's and i barely see any. I've gotten a lot of compliments on the LEDs and can definitely recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade their lighting.

Glad you enjoy. Those of us who've been around since the early days of 204 modding know that LED brows was definitely the albatross. I'm just glad as you guys are that we finally found one that works well

 

Sneak peak at what my LED turn signals will look like. This test set was built to the wrong connector unfortunately, but the design will be the same.







I will be hosting a group buy on these with the option to pick between white, orange, and red. Top two colors sold will dictate what two colors I'll carry in the future.

 

Do you have a price estimate per pair?

 

Not yet. Will be calculated once I figure out customs charge. Shipping will be more expensive though as I obviously can't use my normal bubble wrapped large envelopes with this design. I'll have to get a box for em.
