Those wires attach to a connector that's attached to the light housing by pressure points. Just see if you can get a grip on the connector and pull out. Start from the passenger side as you'll have more room to work with. There's a DIY posted somewhere here with pics.

ok i just installed it and i like it
it was a pain in the as$, if ill ever meet the guy who design the headlights area im gonna shot him in the head
twice!
why are they making it so hard to replace a fkn bulb
and the other thing, when i pulled it out 2 of the housing snapped (1 in each headlight.... AGHHHH)
it was all melted from the heat, and my warranty expired last week

You'll probably want HIDs for your fogs and headlight. MTEC, American Titan, or some of the other HID sponsors here on this forum can take care of you.
And sorry to hear about your problems, yeah, it is a pain in the *** to get to the bulb and helps having smaller hands. What I recommend to those who can't get a good grip of the connector is to get one of those angled needle nose pliars to help. Do not grab and pull by the wire, no matter how tempting it is as you risk pulling out the wire from the connector.

Thanks Mike .... I ordered the LEDs on Sunday , got them today and installed !!
Looks soo much better than OEM. I'm running on 8000k HIDs but I got the 5000k whites because I was afraid of the LEDs looking too blu
Sorry for the crappy phone pic !

Hmm, if you were running 8000K HIDs, you probably should have gotten 8000K LEDs. That's the setup I'm running and matches perfectly. These LEDs are true to spec 8000K meaning more of a cool/glacial white than cheap blue.
Either way, looks good and much better than OEM.

Well, the reason why I ask is to get an idea what color matches better. If you're not on Bi-xenon or HIDs, then you'd want 5000K over 8000K as it'll be a better match, but if you plan on upgrading to HIDs, depending on your color temp, 8000K might be a better match. Pricing is on First Post.

I know this may be silly, but how do I tell if I have Bi-Xenons? Can I just look at it and tell?
Also, if I am stock and have regular lights, how many do I need to do my car? Thanks for your help as I want to place an order soon.

Quantity doesn't change. Reason for asking what type of headlights is most want to match their brows and sidemarkers (if they've gone clear) as closely as possible.

AZN ..... can we use these LEDs for the rear tail lights ?? I believe you had said something about these being a bit too bright for our tails where it may look like as if we were stepping on the brakes even when we werent ....... correct me if i'm wrong ?? TIA

I did have a test LED brake light, but decided not to persue that avenue for now as the brightness of the design, although brigher than stock when on, was not brighter than stock when braking. I might revisit this issue at a later date, but for now, I'm going to first wrap up front turn signal development to match rear turn signals.

Thanks AZN, the new LED's look so much better and brighter than the stock license plate lights. I love it. But 1 question, it looks like the LED's may be rubbing against the housing for the license plate lights. Will this be a problem?

I've had it on for the past few months like that and have had no issues. Same with reports from everyone else who've been rocking the same setup.
