AZN optics, any idea if the stock map lights are LED or standard wedge bulb? I like the color temp of them and am trying to emulate that look in the entire interior, but higher luminosity would be nice.

What is more ideal for this (color matching stock maps) your 5,000k, 8,000k or polargs which I have never seen in person and can't find working interior pics to on the forum. Also I saw your products lifespan is 50k+ hours any idea what polargs are—assuming much less?

Hi JohnnyC300, if you detect any hint of yellow in your map light go for v3 5000k but if you prefer more cool white with little blue i suggest v3 8000k... it feels so comfortable sitting inside

i had installed Aznoptic led about 2 years now , so far interior never had any problem , only eyelid starts flickering after 1.5years

Worth the money

My map lights seem white with a hint of cool blue. No yellow at all. So do you recommend the v4 8000k or v3?

front and rear map lights for your 2009 should be 194 wedge bulbs. Color preference is up to your own sense of aesthetics. Some like pure white, some like the slight bluish hue.

i suggest if you really want a complete match to the map light just go for
V3 5000k which is pure white ( no blue detect)

myself prefer v3 8000k for dome light cool white ( hint of cool blue )

rear dome include : all v3 8000k

foot area : V4 8000k (extreme bright lesser cool blue)

rear bonnet: v4 8000k

rear plate: v3 8000k

front eyelid : V4 8000k

but i had comfirm V4 8000k will fit the front dome and rear plate...just that the cree almost touches the plastic cover...if you comfortable with it

FYI V4 with so much technology in it makes the bulb length longer and so much brighter

Hi Mike,

I am looking for a pair of D1S bulbs for headlight to go with the new 8000K eyebrows set bought from you. I came across this one:

http://www.powerbulbs.com/us/product...s-85415-single

What do you think? I am debating whether I should go with this or the Philips Xenon X-tremeVision. What other options for D1S bulb I have?
My main concern here is that I don't want any less bright than my current OEM Bi-xenon.

Thanks in advance!

Do you have any pics of Morimoto D1S 6000K vs OEM bi-Xenon (headlight package)? I want to see the difference

Unfortunately we don't have any live user pictures that have been shared with us of the D1S swap with OEM xenons. Basically you'll have color difference with a slight bluish hue with the 6000K. Natural characteristic is that it will look pretty white up close, but the further back you stand, the bluish hue becomes more apparent.

Thanks Mike. I got my 8000K set for eyebrows and installed. Easy and error free! Looks so much better compared to stock

I will look into getting those Morimoto bulbs. For now, I will get a couple more sets of 8000K v4 for side marker and back up

Do you have any recommendation for fog light bulb to match 8000K eyebrows and side markers? Stock amber is a bit out of place with 8000K eyebrows/side makers set up.

Here is eyebrows 8000K v4 installed (sorry for bad quality image taken from phone)

Looks great.

Your fogs use H7 bulbs so we'd recommend an H7 HID kit to match. Fogs don't have bulb clips though unlike the headlights so you'll need an H7 HID bulb adapter which you can find over ebay for like $5-10. Just an FYI.

I am thinking of getting the Morimoto Elite H7 600K kit. Will corner illuminating (P2) work after replacing stock with H7 HID bulb + kit?

Any other options to go without HID kit? Can I just replace the fig light H7 bulb with an H7 adapter without the HID kit?

Honestly, we haven't outfitted the Morimoto units on cornering fogs yet or at least none to our knowledge from any customers, but we haven't heard any complaints if they did.

Asides from HID kit for fogs, you can also try whiter halogen bulbs (Philips Diamond Vision for example). We played around with LED fogs, but scrapped the project due to the light scatter you get with those halogen reflectors and no throw distance. Didn't look good so we opted not to carry that product line. This might not be the case for much longer however. We're tracking the new 3D led that have just started to crack the market that offers true 360 single SMD lighting, however, technology isn't quite there yet where we'd comfortably recommend it to our customers or start carrying.

Thanks for the info! For now I will look into Philips Diamond Vision first.
I just got 2x 8000K v4 for side markers and backup for future use. Hopefully I can put on the clear side marker this weekend.

I tried the 5000K LED bulbs on my clear side markers but I personally found them a little too bright/distracting for my taste. I do love them on the eyebrows as well as rear trunk, very functional back there at night.

Fog lights are way to yellow, any recommendations on what bulb to get to best match the 5000K eyebrows and place of purchase?

Thanks!

For fogs, 5000K HID kit or Philips Diamond Visions would be my recommendation.

Michael, do you carry any D1S bulbs 8000K? I am looking for a more blue-ish hue set up.
Thanks!

We do carry D1S bulbs, but Morimoto only makes up to 6000K. We've been trying to get them to expand to 8000K, but so far they're not willing to.
