Hey mate it would be good if you start searching the forum to get the info you want instead of asking around for questions that have been answered so many times. Mike clearly state that it would be almost impossible to match halogen bulbs with HIDs. The closest match you can get would be to go with the DVs. Other than that there is nothing here that we know of.

For Halogen, Diamond Vision is as good as you're going to get. If you want true white, you'll have to go HID.

Love these LEDs! They're so bright! I've had mine in for a few weeks already, but I didn't have the 5000K HIDs to compare them to until this week. My LEDs don't exactly look like 5000K or 8000K. They have a greenish/bluish tint to them.

The first picture is during the day in the garage, and the second is at night.

Color will be slightly distorted due to eyebrow housing shade. A good way to compare is to pull it out of the housing and look at the color compared to the low beams.

They did look really white when I turned them on outside of the housing to see if I had them in the right way when I first installed them. I've only seen one other picture that looked similar to mine, Spec_Davis' eyebrows looked like a similar shade. If the housing is creating this color, no biggie. Nothing I can do about. Loving the LEDs.

I have ordered a new set and Mike is nice enough to warranty me a new LED
Below are the pics of comparison from new to a 1 year old LED
I would definitely recommend to change them more often as they seem to not able to last very that long, but of course if the LEDs themselves can improve on the head resistance it will definitely be better.
Another recommendation is maybe if we can reduce the SMDs into like 4 to reduce the heat and prolong the life of the circuit board and the wirings.

I don't think I have installed the LEDs wrongly as I was among the first to discover that the resistor touching the connector causing the superheat problem so I took precaution while installing the LEDs

Great review

The color should be the same in the plates as the lens cap is clear. Take them out and swap them and see if the color characteristic follows the led. Also try one of the other leds to isolate. want to make sure i didnt accidentally send you an 8000k.

Actually, you got 2 sets of 8000K and 1 set of 5000K right? Make sure that you did plug in the 5000K in the plate and not a 5000K and 8000K by accident.

Mike,

1.) How hard is it to install these myself? How much would it cost to have them installed?

2.) What would I need if I wanted to do the side markers, fog lights, eyebrows and headlights? In other words - everything!

1) Not too difficult. There's a DIY posted and I include basic instructions in my order. Getting them professionally installed will vary depending on region, but if you're just doing eyebrows and sidemarkers, you should try doing it yourself. Even if they're professionally installed, it doesn't mean it'll be done right.

2) Sidemarkers and eyebrows will take 3 sets of my 194 Wedge LEDs. Your call if you want 5000K or 8000K. As for fogs and low beams, you'll want my HID kit. Low beams are H7 and fogs are H7 if you have sport, or H11 if you have luxury. HID kits are $100 per kit.

Medium tint. Sprayed.

And I'm running Magnaflow Tru-X and Meisterschaft GT exhaust. One of the best sounding combos I've heard. A refined growl that matches the elegant aggressiveness theme of my C.

Tried once, but without a better mic, didn't capture the tone accurately.
