Sirius "a la carte"

I have an 09 C300 with the command/NAV/HK radio that includes Sirius satellite. Does anyone know if this unit will support Sirius "a la carte" option where you can choose 50 channels for $6.99. Their website says the radio must support "a la carte"?

Not sure if this helps but I have an 09 Sport, don't have the command, and my radio will not support the "a la carte" option. If you are wanting to do the "a la carte" because its less expensive call Sirius and see what kind of price they can do for you, I called yesterday to activate mine and they originally wanted $142 for "sirius everything" with taxes and all it was coming out to $192....I asked the rep if there was anything they could do because I couldn't justify paying that for a 'radio', the rep ended up giving me their half off Sirius Everything 12 mo promo for half the price!

Sirius sucks, sorry to say. Does anyone else notice the hissing in the background? I never had that problem with XM, my wife has it in her MDX. Plus XM will deal much more. My best deal with XM was $62/year.

I don't hear any hissing on Sirius but I do notice a highly compressed sound that doesn't have the depth of a quality recording.

Can't help but wonder if some are upgrading their audio system when the problem is the signal.
