Car Alarm - motion sensor
Hi, is it possible to lock the car but not arming the alarm? Last week I was on a ferry and the vibration on the deck keep triggering the alarm.

On aftermarket alarms that's valet mode. I don't know if there's a way to put the MB alarm into valet mode. The manual should help you there.

why not just press the 'lock door' button prior to shutting the door? then you wouldn't need to arm the car to lock the doors..
