Car won't start after mod!
Ok so yesterday i painted the insdie of my headlights and the car worked fine without the headlights in when i moved the car a few feet. I put the headlights back in and everything is reassembled and when i go to start the car ABS and SRS warning come up and the car dies. What can it be? Is my battery dead? Cause I have run the battery to were the car wont start but then recharge it and start her up.
All i did was reconnect the headlights and bam it goes out

I think it has more to do with the battery.
I vaguely recall something about having to go into one of the menus and resetting some values when replacing the battery. What I recall was thinking that it was going to be a pain to do for something as simple as replacing a battery and that MB should have made it easier.

I would put a voltmeter across my battery terminals & expect to see around 12 volts.
Check also if there are any fuses blown.
Do your headlights work ?

take a look at the basics.
check the connections/pins of your headlights.
i think they are on the engine can network, if there is a problem they might bring the engine can down.
Just a guess.
Good luck

She's got the golden eye
Here are some pics of the lights, black housing with golden trim to match my gold 19'' r8 rims coming soon
I also tinted taillights but havent polished them yet and painted calipers to match the cherry red.
I guess my battery is pretty low, car wouldn't start again in morning. Hook the charger up and bam she works perfectly. I guess i'll be using the ipod when i wash her instead of sirius xm.
AND YES MY CAR IS FILTHY!!!

I hope you don't have a stray open circuit draining out your battery when your car is supposed to be off... the airbag warning light and car not starting is very typical of not enough amps in the battery to charge the airbags or start the car.. which is typical of cold German winters and stupid things like leaving the key in the ignition (even in off) with the DRL enabled.
