Lamin-x for license plate lights?
Has anyone tried putting Lamin-x optic blue film on their license plate light housing? If so, was the resulting light more white or more blue? I'm not looking for LED brightness, I just want the right color. Something along the lines of 4300k or 5000k hids.

If you put it on the stock bulbs it was sort of white, but the light barely light the license plate, I would really suggest just getting the white LED's that AZNc300, or AZN optics sells. I have them in my rear license plates and they look great! They are nice and bright, but best of all, they have the exact color your looking for. Would also be the same price as Lamin-X probably (that film is expensive!) And you would have to cut it and install it yourself, which mine didn't stick on that well, and I had to buy a full roll (didn't sell smaller quantity)

Also, I ended up ordering a few sets of LEDs from AZN Optics. The price and quality of his LEDs made it a no-brainer. I just wish that I could buy LEDs for my other cars at the same price point.
