Question new paint question
Hey guys I had a quick question...

Somebody rear-ended me at a red light a few weeks back so I needed a new bumper and new paint. When i got it back i on 8/8 the body shop guy said I should wait about 3 weeks to wax or seal it but my dad had called the shop a week prior about putting the permaplate coating on and the rep on the phone said I need to wait 30 days.
lol who do i listen to? I know I need to allow the paint to "cure" but I'm not sure how long to wait. I ordered a PC, menzerna polishes, etc so im dying to detail it before school starts back up in 3 weeks! but i dont want the paint to bubble.apparently some paint types even require 3 months to cure

any thoughts? thanks!
