Gary can you try the mirror covers on a white car too see how is that ur talking about that it doesn't cover cause I'm interested in a pair?

Please see installed pics attached. I did not use the CF inserts to cover the indicator signals as I had these blacked out (see other thread) and I liked the look. The product fits well and is better than other versions I have seen or used. Many versions out there are not even close to OEM fitment and this is a major issue as the mirrors logically get alot of exposure to wind speed. Any gaps in fitment will eventually lead to unwanted whistling noise or even the part detaching. This install is temp for me as the double sided tape included with covers is simply not strong enough to hold them in place IMHO and I will be using 3M tape for final install. Because of the tension on the part to wrap around the mirror the tape needs to be very strong to hold the covers in place and so you should double up tape and make sure it covers all edges and corners of covers when you install. Overall a good product from Gary and the weave and quality of CF is excellent for the price. You could drop $800 for other versions out there, but I don't see this making any sense.

How much of a lip would there be over the original caps? I'm interested in covers for my 2010 but I'd like to see if there's any photos from the side and underside to see how much thickness it'll add. thanks!
