Sorry to go a little off-topic, but why can't the inner and outer piece be all one-piece?
I have never seen this done and it makes so much sense, and makes for a cleaner and sleeker look.

Please see installed pics attached. I did not use the CF inserts to cover the indicator signals as I had these blacked out (see other thread) and I liked the look. The product fits well and is better than other versions I have seen or used. Many versions out there are not even close to OEM fitment and this is a major issue as the mirrors logically get alot of exposure to wind speed. Any gaps in fitment will eventually lead to unwanted whistling noise or even the part detaching. This install is temp for me as the double sided tape included with covers is simply not strong enough to hold them in place IMHO and I will be using 3M tape for final install. Because of the tension on the part to wrap around the mirror the tape needs to be very strong to hold the covers in place and so you should double up tape and make sure it covers all edges and corners of covers when you install. Overall a good product from Gary and the weave and quality of CF is excellent for the price. You could drop $800 for other versions out there, but I don't see this making any sense.

Cycosis, the inner parts are sold all over eBay and range in price from $30-90 depending on the seller. I don't see the value here and you would be better off buying the complete set if want CF look. That been said, if you want inners I would be happy to send to you as I will not be using mine. I have two CF sets (one from Gary and one from another set of covers that were absolute junk as far as fitment is concerned but inners are ok) as well as some a set of pure blacked out stickers if anyone wants them.
