I always wanted to have a C63 but my parents wouldn't let me get a AMG...

the question is... should i mod it to look like a C63? LOL. Now, but the problem is, i'm afraid that i would look like a poser though.

I wouldn't worry a bit about it...unless you slap a big AMG/// badge on the trunk lid...then your poser status would arrive.

i had the same problem lol. after much debate (with myself lol) i settled on modding my car to look unique and original but with a hint of ///AMG here and there.

all you need to remember is that if it makes you happy go for it! no one can tell YOU how YOUR car should look

though i do agree slapping an ///AMG badge on it would be pointless. because as many have said before " the only way its a true ///AMG is if i has the engine to back it up"

I've taken that route, and have posted pics on various threads. You can see in my sig some of the AMG cues which have been added. The overall effect looks great, but being debadged, no risk of "poseur" status here!

(Yes, the word is spelled with a "u"!)

So, if you're considering finishing off the Euroteck diffuser group buy, go for it while the price is low!! It's a great piece!

You're also in LA....the mod scene is pretty harsh on posers here in LA/OC.

No badge and you should be good. I also have a bunch of AMG parts on my car, but would never get an AMG badge within 10 feet....lol

Just put on some nice wheels and maybe a mild lowering kit - you'll get more look than a stock C63. Non enthusiasts can`t tell the diff between AMG anyway.

i got the 18" AMG wheels, do i still have to change it? i cant really lower my car... i'm afraid i cant go to my garage of my apartment... i'll take a picture of it again and ask this forum to see if i can go any lower

I feel your pain dude, so I suggest light mods, and no fake AMG badges. Just my opinion though...


As for me, well I'm probably gonna have to get a regular C again soon, but after that when I earn enough cash I am absolutely buying an AMG.

^ This. The ones that don't care won't even pay attention. The ones that do care will know the difference so at the end of the day, if you do it don't badge up your car cause you'll end up looking like a fool.

Seen two ridiculous cases of w203's around my area already.

case 1. white w203 with brabus badge and absolutely no brabus parts

case 2. white w203 badged as a CLK350 AMG

necro thread but nice job guys. posing starts only when you slap the badges on. i've seen many w204 c classes non amg go for the quad tips and they look great!
