hallo i am writing from Denmark.. following question..

I am buying a used w204 c220 cdi 09/2007 avantgarde sedan / dvdnavigation, panorama sunroof ,reversecensor.. with. 260.000 km. on the clock... and without warrenty .. does anybody know any problems for this type of car i should be a ware of ?? ( sorry my english)

That is surely the W204 with the highest mileage that I have seen so far. Obviously all highway.

What repairs have been done to it? If everything has been replaced once or twice already and the price is right then why not?

I have the same car but have only done 33,000 km without any problems.

The engine & gearbox are well proven . Make sure that there is a good service history. If it has an auto gearbox make sure the oil has been changed every 60,000 km.

Check for any brake fluid leaks around master cylinder & on wheel slaves. Check rotor thickness & suspension bushes.

Check Macpherson strut inserts & rear shock absorbers are not leaking.

It would be advisable & very good insurance to have the vehicle checked by a knowledgable MB mechanic as it has done quite a few km.

Having done that & now having a good knowledge of the car you can negotiate a fair price.

Another point is that it could be a good car for someone is only planning to do a light mileage & could last many years without high costs.

Also the coolant should have been changed at 250,000km.
