the money you spend on the filters will take ages to get back in gas savings. and who knows if they even improve mileage. i'm sure someone will come along and say they do, right after someone says they don't.
i have noticed with these k&n things is that there are just as much negative reviews as there are positive.
that is why i am staying away.

Thy didn't work out for me, I had some hesitation while they were installed. Ended up switching to Green filters. BMC's are good also

Do not use any oil impregnated filters - they WILL foul o2 sensors etc sooner or later.
Tire pressure, drive style is everything re mpg

You could get the part # on here http://www.bmcairfilter.com/and probably search that through Amazon. I have these for the E55 airbox I'm about to install..

If not very carefully oiled K&N filters mess with the MAF & O2 sensors.

I have also heard that the oil will cause sensors to go bad over time, What happen if you just dont oil the filters at all?? I have found out that paper air filter like ours are the best type of filtration, might not be the best air flow but definitely best filter. I thnk I rather have a clean engine than save 1-2mpg.

Porsche Macan S SportDesign / Ex M-B's: 11 & 10 & 06 E350's, 02 S500
K&N's on M-B's are usually known to do more harm than good.
Any "gain's" are usually negligible, if they even exist.
M-B's stock filters are known to be about as good as it gets for the particular motors. I'd use that money on something else.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
BTW, tire PSI, clean injectors, clean/serviced air filter, driving style, etc. will affect MPG's a lot more usually.
