Jenson Button takes delivery of Mercedes-Benz C-Class DR 520 Estate
all I could say is "whoa!"
Perfect for carrying F1 trophies home
Jenson Button, the reigning 2009 Formula One World Champion, has taken delivery of a limited edition Mercedes C-Class DR 520 Estate.
Decked out in matt black, the uber estate is a C63 AMG on steroids. The 6.3-liter V8 engine produces 520 PS (382 kW / 513 hp) and 650 Nm (479 ft-lb) of torque - 60 PS (44 kW / 59 hp) and 50 Nm (37 lb-ft) more than the standard C63 AMG - thanks to forged pistons, new connecting rods and a revised crankshaft. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.2 seconds, before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 187 mph (301 km/h).
Other goodies include titanium accents, leather / Alcantara sport seats, and an AMG braking system.
While Button probably got his car for free, regular folks will have to cough up £63,680 for a chance to own one of the twenty DR 520s that will be produced.

Mercedes Estates have always seemed to be synonymous with old school money, professors and the gentry type...this one not so much!!
Wouldn’t mind some grippy seats like that though they may be a bit hard to get in/out.
