Replacing Poly V Belt???

Hey guys so I'm trying to replace my poly v belt because it is squeaking and the edge is coming apart. I already picked up the part and have checked out the area. I also know where the automatic tension pulley is too but here is my dilemma. I usually have dealt with pulleys that have a bolt in the center so it just easy to identify and make it work... now when I see my C300 there is no bolt... Can somebody help me figure this out? Ahead of time thank you.

How many miles do you have on your C300?

I've got 56K miles and the V belt doesn't show any signs of wear. Edges are not fraying.

While checking out the belt, I looked at those tensioners and see what you're talking about. Hope it doesn't require any special tools.

Hope someone responds with the "trick" on how to replace the belt.

Yes - the squeeking is likely the tensioner.

I bet your V belt isn't on there right. Being off one notch would account for the edge fraying and the squeeky noise.

Just figured it out... the bolt is not in the tension wheel but to its left... it was an easy DIY .... Incase anyone decides to change this for them selves always remember the belt was before you remove it or draw a diagram.... or simply look at ur owners manual the diagram is in there.
