XPIPE INSTALL ON MY C300
I have my X-Pipe installed today here in Miami. Had it done at Miami Muffler. I went with their own pipe. Cost was $225 for parts and labor, which I think was not too much. They did a neat job. Very satisfied.
The sound is great. Not too loud, just right. Inside the car is still quiet while outside sounds a little more beefy when you hit the gas. This is my first mod on my C300 so I am happy!!
Check out the pics. I had more but you get the picture.

The X-pipe mod is one of the least expensive but yet nicest mod IMHO
I'm often driving with the windows rolled down and no radio just to hear that roaring sound when flooring on the gas ! Though it still doesnt compare to that c63 or m3 roar

hmm maybe i should do this.. i really wish i could hear it in person. I'm so afraid of it sounding like a ford probe with a cherry bomb (yes I had one of those when they were cool)

Hey guys. I'm driving a c300 and I'm really interested in this mod too.. Where do I purchase one, and can I just go to any local garage for getting it installed? will there be any welding needed?

Make sure you get the 2.25 diameter (Model # 10790)
Just tell them you want to replace your stock resonator with the X-pipe and they should know what to do. Any decent muffler shop can install it, They just have to weld additional piping since the X-pipe is not long enough. I had mine installed for $45

That's a bargain! They charged me $65 for the installation.
