HID 6000k installed UK £45 no error
Hi Guys
Im not sure what all the fuss is about
Installed HID on low beams in 15mins
5 mins wiring / fitting, 10 mins cutting velcro to perfect size lol
My HID kit had NO ERROR out of the box, use max10 for 10% discount
http://www.maxautos.co.uk/product_p/h76000kkit.htm
Steps:
1. Remove Cap
2. Remove bulb
3. Remove bulb clip (squeeze ends together at the base important as new bulbs wires are fixed to bulb)
4. Test HID kit without installing bulb to get correct wire orientation
I found black went to the left pin when the bulb holder lip is upward
5. Drill 25mm hole in cap
6. Pass wire through the hole and fit grommet
7. fit bulb
8. Replace bulb clip (now you can pass the wires through the open end to make life easy)
9. Fix bulb clip
10. Wire it all up and test again to make sure its working fine
11. replace Cap
12. Make velcro backing for the module
13. Fit to plastic wheel arch on a flat area (if you are doing fogs leave space for another module)
14. Hide wires
15. Enjoy your new lights
Grommet pics:
Fogs 6000k imitation bulbs
Left bulb phillips crytal vision
Right bulb 6000k maxauto HID

With LED eyebrows (EXACT MATCH!!!!!!! bought £6 pair ebay bulbs)

From inside the car, no glare and there is perfect alignment (right is lower than left remember im in the UK right hand drive)
All pics taken on BB 9000 (hence bad quality)
Fogs to come tomorrow
Thanks for looking
