Thanks for the info, I did not know there was one there either. I have to remember that one, of the 250 plus ones in DC. Seems they must get a significant amount of revenue from their batteries of speed and red-light cameras

I know that 47mph is 33% over the 35mph speed limit but a speeding ticket for 47mph anywhere other than a school zone or parking lot is just wrong! Are there crosswalks on that stretch? Looks like a drag strip!

as i type this i'm on my front porch watching about 10 kids, all age 8 or under, including my 7 1/2 year old and 6 year old, playing on scooters, bikes, and skateboards up and down the sidewalk. you drive 47mph in front of my house and i'll do whatever it takes to make sure you won't ever want to do it again. hopefully i'll be successful in keeping you from ever driving anywhere again.

It's called Indian Head Highway. If your kids are playing anywhere near this stretch of road you should be arrested.

OT: haven't been on Indian Head Highway since about 1980, although it was not this location. Sunshine Liquors ring a bell? I think that was the name of the place. Just a few minutes from WW Bridge?

Member on the BMW Z3 board posted this a couple months ago. Maybe just a story but still a real yuk.

Said he went through intersection in his open roadster and saw the speed cameras go off. Wasn't speeding so went around the block slower yet and saw them go off again. Did it twice more even slower yet.

Two weeks later got 4 tickets in the mail................ for driving without his seat belt on.
