Yeah.....
Yeah.....
Had a pretty big blonde moment today...I was leaving the gym, opened the trunk and threw my bag in...closed the trunk, the trunk popped back up. Tried to close it again--probably tried about five more times and even tried holding it down. Sat for another five minutes wondering what to do--Should I tie it down, just drive home with it up...then I realized my keys were in the bag...lol. Thanks Mercedes!
Yes, I do have the keyless-go feature--which could be it or maybe it's with all keys in general. It's nice since you cant ever lock yourself away from the keys, but it was frustrating at first watching my trunk pop back up like it was broken, haha.

After confirming the location and functioning of my spare key six times, I locked the other key in the trunk. And there it stayed, locked, until I fetched my spare key and unlocked the car.

I remember I was walking on the street in Moscow about five years ago and I see this black SL65 with an open trunk driving on the road... He pulls it over, keeps trying to close the trunk then it seems like he finally got it... and as soon as he drives off, it opens up again lol.
are you sure it's actually a feature? if the system is able to figure out the inches of difference between the trunk and your pocket, MB sure has put a very elaborate system in there
with no keyless go, keys stay locked, so you just can open with spare key...and if you donīt have it there, just call someone who can get the key and unlock it through the phone!
cheers!
