Hey, so I'm looking to do this within the week probably. Would I just call Matt to arrange a date and time? I'm wondering if I can just drive over to Costa Mesa after my classes seeing as it's only a 15 minute drive from Irvine.

I think a video between stock and tuned would make a lot of people including myself get it. Whats the point if the car is accelerating the same as the stock one and keep the same pace. If the tune is for better overall feel and more responsive, I think people could have just dropped their cars and that alone made mine more responsive

Im just saying when people say that after the tune there is no lag. For me thats just like shifting through the gears yourself. I get no lag because I shift myself. i don't have the manual but it's still ok. I don't want to tune it if all I get is faster response always like letting the car rev up before pressing the gas. I actually am looking for maybe a bit quicker in pick up or something. I know 10-20 hp won't do much but its nice for someone to compare it. Whats the point of adding the extra hp and not get any results.

I understand that. I have the same problem and thats why I stay in lower gears and I have no throttle lag. The car is clearly underpowered so that little bit of horse power isnt going to do it any justice.

2013 C250 Coupe
Considerations:
$350 is relatively inexpensive in comparison to other brands. I know the tune I received was not that full 20 hp at 93 octane which probably has a lot to do with the pricing. I think I said ealier, I'd much rather pay this amount for a tune than say even a sprint booster which only adjusts TCU response.
-Whatever it is, 10-20 hp, increase is minimal no matter how you look at it--especially on c300. From what I've gathered, without putting heavy work in, you shouldn't expect any out of your seat and pants results.
-Overall, for me, even if powerchip didn't make any improvements to my vehicle, taking the chance for the price was worth it...just to test the waters--that's how I feel. So I would say, take the chance, get the tune, drive around see how you feel and dish out some extra cash for a dyno if you want. This is the net, you won't get any full satisfaction through chat and it's all a gamble, just do you.
-The car I did this tune on is my daily rider--it's not the fastest and I'm fine with that, lol

its a couple hundred guys....cmon just do it. what is a video going to show ~20hp. there are a few factors off the top of my head that can negate the video results. someone should dyno too if you want factual results - preferably same day, same car, same shop

Well not to be the Debbie Downer among the group, but I decided to not get the tune after seeing their site some more. Their site reads that you only get the 20HP gain with PowerchipGold 93, which requires 93 octane gas; something which I'm sure you all know isn't very available in SoCal (unless you get 91 and mix it with some 100 octane from the few places that sell it). The PowerchipGold 91 option only offers 10 HP&10lb/ft torque and I don't think that would personally be a groundbreaking change.
Also, me only being a student, I think it would be better to save that $350 for something more resourceful. Sure, I get better throttle response, sure I'm missing out on a deal I would have to be crazy and deluded to turn down, but I think my car's fast enough as is. To those who did get the, I do hope you do enjoy it. At least I won't be as tempted to floor it at the light

Glad to see you did your research. I feel bad for the others that got it and dont have 93 anywhere around. I put 93 every time but either way I don't think a c300 would get anywhere more than 10hp
