GTR brakes
So as I was changing my brakes at an independent Mercedes shop and I came across a Automotive magazine. As I was flipping the pages and I came across a GTR. The article was on changing brakes. I can't find the original article because I don't remember the name of it but this is what was on it,
It stated that at 29,000 miles, they changed the front and rear brake pads and rotors for a total price around $7465. This is no typo. I was shocked. I thought I was paying a lot for brake pads and rotors but damn, I should stop complaining.
Just thought I should share.

DAMN!! That would be a deal breaker no doubt, I don't care how much money I have.
I love the GTR, but if I'm gonna spoil a car with that kind of dough on service items, it's gonna be on an Italian or the like.

That's probably a price for ceramic rotors and ceramic compatible pads. It's a large expense but if the car is a keeper it may be worth it, since they are long lasting components.
