Few Upgrades :)

Bought my c300 about a month ago and the only thing I had done to it up to today was removing the front plate

Finally I got some stuff today and installed it:
- DDM 6000k 55W HIDs w/ Capacitors (works mint)
- EBay smoked sidemarkers (not awesome...but still better than stock)
- Lamin-X yellow tint for the fog lights

This forum needs more pictures so here are a few...enjoy!

Hey, I just ordered their HID kit - where did you mount the ballast? Did you get the slim size? Let me know. Thanks, Mark

I found places where the ballasts would sit and not move too much and then zip tied everything else accordingly. Just look around...its not neat but it works.

Just one word on lamin film. Do not leave the fog on too long. They tends to make burn mark(not big just small) if you leave it on for long time.

Sick car. Always liked the look of black sport w204s, as long as I didn't own it because its so hard to keep clean. And your in a car wash in the picture lmao..

Yup. Needs to be washed once a week. My race car is silver and I wash that once a year.

It's been a while since those pictures were taken. Sold my race car and now I'm bored and looking at little things to do with the Benz. So today I finally de-badged and wrapped the chrome with some vinyl tape I had laying around. Now it just needs some nicer rims, a drop, and a lip...and that will probably do it.

Are those the 55w 6000k in the picture? Any chance of getting some night shots as I can't decide between 35w and 55w 5000k. Im worried 55w will just blind me from being too bright on the road. Did you get the bow kit?

Anyway nice ride. Looks clean.

I have 55w 5000k. You won't blind anyone. Just make sure you aim them properly.

What about it blinding you when driving? Is there to much glare? I see your're in Maryland, where did you get your kit from or where did you get it done at?

That is the 55W 6000K slim kit from DDM. The stock bulbs are 55W, so I recommend using a 55W ballast. They are very bright but since we have projector housings, there really is no glare. In a year of driving (20k miles) I had to replace one of the ballasts. Other than that I have no complains about the kit. Oh FYI, I also run the error eliminator capacitors that DDM sells. Never had an issue with bulb out errors.
