And couldn't resist. I went with the chrome ones (5th message in the above forum post) since I don't have an 'AMG', thought i'd share the pics and keep those who don't check out the C63 forums informed.

I had to pull the rears off pretty hard, but once off I just stuck the new ones in. I didn't completely 'pop' them in because i hear others have broke some of the locking mechanism causing the pins to be sunk in. But they are fairly secure, and pretty hard to pull up when locked. They will only come off if you pull on them when unlocked. I might stick something inside the pin to hold it more securely, but I think it's just fine the way it is. Definitely way better then the originals. They took exactly 1 week to get to me.

fronts just screw on, the rears you gotta pull off the original pin (can require a bit of force), then just push on the new pins. I did not 'pop' the pins onto the ball socket, mine aren't as secure as they could be, i've read others have broke there locking mechanism trying to pop them on, leaving them with there door pins looking 'sunk in'. But they are on there fairly secure, they wont come off unless you pull off while unlocked. I'm sure you can get creative by sticking something in the pin before pushing it on to make it more secure if need be. But for now i'm happy with the way they are.
