Default speedometer on digital instrument cluster?

Hey guys,

When you turn on your car, the center digital default display shows the odometer. Due to the angle of my seat to the analog speedometer, I can’t see anything above the 40 MPH mark because the steering wheel blocks the view. That said, I normally change my digital display to show my speed so I can see it without having to do some chair dancing to see the analog speedometer.

Is there a way to change the default of the digital display to show to the speedometer when I turn the car on? Right now it defaults to the odometer and I have to change it every time.

No way to do it on 2009s. I don't know about 2010s, but the 2011s do actually save your last view, which is nice. Don't know why it took them that long to implement such a simple feature.

Can't be done on older models. We have been complaining to Benz about this for over 10 years. e.g. Old W203's you can't default to the temperature gauge. Stupid!

It's the same with the 2010's. Last view is saved.

Will adjusting the steering wheel make viewing easier?
